Arrival
Private transfer from the airport or Shinkansen, straight to the ryokan. No plans for the day — just time to shake off the travel. Evening at a quiet backstreet spot.
Day 2
Kyoto in the Quiet Hours
Temples before the gates draw a crowd, stone steps at your own pace. Arashiyama's bamboo grove before the buses arrive. A quiet hour at Kinkakuji in the afternoon.
Day 3
Living Craft Traditions
Small artisan studios — textile dyeing, pottery, tea ceremony craft. Unhurried time built in just to sit on a temple veranda. Evening in a lantern-lit backstreet, at the counter.
Day 4
Departure
A closing calligraphy or tea ceremony session in the morning, then transfer to the airport or Shinkansen.
