Day 1
Arrival
Private transfer from Yamagata or Sendai to a ryokan in Ginzan Onsen. No plans — just the quiet of the baths and dinner.
Day 2
Yamadera & Zao
Yamadera's mountain steps at your own pace. A quiet afternoon walk in Zao, away from the ski-resort crowds.
Day 3
Kakunodate & Craft
The preserved samurai district in Kakunodate, or a Yamagata weaving/sake brewery visit. A quiet dinner back at the ryokan.
Day 4
Departure
A morning walk, then transfer to the airport or Shinkansen.
Day 1
Arrival, Sendai
Private transfer. No plans, a light evening.
Day 2
Matsushima Bay
One of Japan's three great views, by private boat, timed away from the tour groups.
Day 3
Hiraizumi
The UNESCO temples of Chuson-ji and Motsu-ji, unhurried.
Day 4
On to Kakunodate
The preserved samurai district in Akita, check into a ryokan.
Day 5
Nyuto Onsen / Lake Tazawa
A day at a remote, quiet onsen.
Day 6
On to Yamagata
Yamadera's mountain steps, check into Ginzan Onsen.
Day 7
Flex Day
A quiet walk in Zao, or a sake brewery visit. Farewell dinner.

Departure
Transfer to Sendai or Yamagata airport.
